Title: Partnership Assistant of Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank
Department: Operational Partnership Department (OPD)
Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) is a multilateral
development bank with the mandate to foster sustainable economic growth in Asia
by investing in infrastructure and other productive areas and promoting
regional cooperation and partnerships.
The Operational Partnership Department (OPD) administers AIIB’s Special Funds resources, manages
the Bank’s engagement with global and regional coordination mechanisms, and
mobilizes additional resources for the Bank’s investment operations.
The OPD vision is to make AIIB a major player in
the international development architecture and the #1 MDB partner of choice for
financing sustainable infrastructure with a focus on the most vulnerable, and
to make OPD a critical partner to AIIB investment operations teams seeking to
mobilize additional concessional and impact capital and build upstream pipeline
in line with our Corporate Strategy.
The Partnership Assistant has the following main responsibilities.
Specific
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Supporting daily business operations of OPD on Special Funds management
and operational partnership.
·
Supporting the Bank's Special Funds grants approval process, and the
work of Special Funds Committee Secretariat, including scheduling and record
keeping.
·
Supporting the development, upgrading and maintenance of the Special
Funds project management IT system, AIIB's Special Funds Dashboard, and other
relevant databases.
·
Supporting the collaboration with internal and external partners,
including by planning and organizing conferences, seminars and meetings.
·
Supporting the preparation, delivery and review of reports,
documents, and presentations to help Management effectively communicate
Bank strategic thinking both internally and externally.
·
Assisting in analyzing data, identifying trends, and preparing reports
to support data-driven decision-making, including by designing reader-friendly
visual presentation tools.
·
Supporting the recruitment and monitoring of consultants and their
travels and meetings for works of Special Funds.
·
Conducting any other work as required by supervisors.

Candidate
Requirements
·
Minimum bachelor’s degree in Economics, Public Policy, Development
Studies, Business Administration, Social Sciences,& Management or
equivalent.
·
Excellent proficiency of professional writing and speaking of English.
·
Ability to think independently while working under supervision.
·
Minimum 2 years of work experience in a similar position in relevant organizations.
Experience in multi-cultural organizations will be a significant plus.
·
Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail.
·
Proficiency in
common statistical software, data analysis, and data visualization as well as
Microsoft Office programs Word, Excel, Power Point and others.
Expert level skill in Excel is a plus.
·
A high level of personal integrity, self-motivation, sense of
responsibility and genuine commitment to corporate values of the AIIB.
·
Demonstrated ability to work within teams in a cooperative manner with
a clear vision to add value.
·
Ability to work under tight deadlines.
