《双城记》就开篇词写得好，是向《圣经》借梗。故事内容，有说法是当时的英国政府为了打舆论战，攻击法国，才弄出这么一本小说。

不过，男二的圣母人设，我最近读的一本小说《投行之路》把《双城记》的三角关系写的更合理，更精彩。如果对标《双城记》的三角恋设定，《投行之路》更值得一读。

看了一些名著了，都觉得物有所值，超出心理预期。但是双城记是唯独一本，高开低走，前头几句话高屋建瓴，后面的剧情、认知、态度都感觉有些不够宏大、超脱了。例如，如果结局是靠某人的牺牲得到救赎，最少把牺牲者刻画的更内心化、更自然、更普遍真实一些，而不能脸谱化、想当然。
