Sales Finance Intern - RTM Finance (Beijing)

The Greater China Sales Finance team manages all sales finance activities for Apple’s indirect channel business in China mainland, Hong Kong and Taiwan. The team forms part of a dynamic Worldwide Sales Finance organization, aligned by process tracks which are managed locally, but with a strong alignment to global process ownership.  The key process tracks include Demand Forecasting & Analytics (DF&A), Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), Route To Market (RTM) and Product Finance.

Description

The internship will include a combination of the following tasks:

•        Understand RTM channel programs and funding process, design framework to automate partner performance measurement and rebate calculation

•        Optimize process to collect, store and integrate data from different teams

•        Construct logic and create tools to calculate rebates based on real business program needs

•        Design and create user-friendly interface to enable team’s real use, and reporting or dashboard to exhibit calculation results

Qualification 

•        Bachelor’s/Master’s in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or Engineering with curriculum in business

•        Minimum commitment of 3 months (prefer 6+ months) and 3 working days per week

•        Basic Excel skills required

•        SQL, Python, and Tableau skills required

•        Solid analytical skill with good business sense

•        Fast learner with ability to work autonomously and as a member of a team

•        Superior verbal and written communication and collaboration across multi-functions, ability to convey technical concepts and considerations to non-experts

•        Position is in Beijing, China
