Amazon – Business Intelligence Engineer Intern

[Responsibility]

1. Support data service requests for business review and deep dive analysis.

2. Build real time analytical platforms using big data tools and AWS technologies.

3. Learn and understand a broad range of Amazon's data resources and execute set of standards

across different organizations.

4. Gain understand Amazon logistics and supply chain operations.

[Required Qualification]

1. Currently enroll in an accredited college or university, actively pursuing a degree in one of the

following areas: Statistics, Computer Science, Information System.

2. Advanced SQL writing skills.

3. Experience with large scale data processing and building robust ETL/data pipelines.

4. Fluent in English listening and speaking; outstanding in reading and writing.

5. Work onsite in the Beijing office for 4+ days per week for a duration of 6+ months.

[Preferred Qualification]

1. Experience in AWS technologies, including Redshift, S3, Aurora, and DynamoDB.

2. Knowledge of how to improve code quality and optimizes BI processes (e.g. speed, cost,

reliability).

3. Proficient in scripting languages, such as Python.

4. Familiar with the Linux environment.

5. CET-6 550+ / TOEFL 100+ / IELTS 7+.
