[复制链接] 分享:Prof. Yuhao Zhu in the Department of Computer Science and Department of Brain and Cognitive Sciences at University of Rochester is recruiting fully-funded Ph.D. students starting in Fall 2025. Students will have a broad latitude in choosing research projects that are aligned with our interests. In general, our work spans Human-Computer Interaction, Augmented/Virtual Reality, Hardware Engineering (optics, sensor, processors), and Computational Art.
Below is a partial list of things that the group is currently exploring:
- Computational art: expressing visual arts, comprehending art history, and understanding the neural and cognitive basis of aesthetics. If you have an art or design background, definitely reach out!!
- Understanding and modeling human visual systems (eyes, retina, brain) to build efficient Augmented and Virtual Reality systems.
- Deep learning-inspired neuroscience and neuroscience-inspired deep learning.
- Self-powered, energy-harvesting machine vision systems.
- Computer systems for robotics and Embodied AI
Interested students are invited to read the recruitment page (https://yuhaozhu.com/prospective.html) and the group website (http://horizon-lab.org/) and send an email to yzhu@rochester.edu.
Bio: Yuhao Zhu is an Associate Professor of Computer Science and Brain and Cognitive Sciences at University of Rochester.
