Associate Professor Guangdong Bai (https://baigd.github.io) is inviting applications for PhD scholarships under the Top Universities Student Scheme (TUSS) at City University of Hong Kong (7th in Asia University Rankings by QS ranking, and 1st (HK), 18th (World) in Computer Science & Engineering by ShanghaiRanking).

#Eligibility Requirements

- Obtained or be expected to obtain a Bachelor's degree from a C9 University or UCAS. 

- Meet City University of Hong Kong's minimum English proficiency requirements: TOEFL score of 79 or above, or IELTS overall band score of 6.5 or above.

#Research Areas

Applications are invited in security-related research areas, including but not limited to 

- System and software security

- Trustworthy AI (e.g., robustness verification, safety of AI systems, AI alignment, data and AI model governance)

- Blockchain and decentralized finance
